Samuel FAIREY of Lavendon - Marriage

Samuel Fairey/Farey married Mary Robinson at Lavendon on 10 Oct 1804.
On 1841 census Mary age 60 was living in Lavendon  with chlidren? Ann, George & Eliz.

I'd like to know if the marriage entry says anything about where Samuel was from, as there is a suggestion he was from Felmersham

  Nothing that easy I am afraid ....

  entry no 42  Samuel Fairey of Lavendon
                      Mary Robinson of afore said parish
         married by Lic. 10 Oct 1804  both made their mark

  I scouted for children and came up with ....

31 Oct 1813    Thomas
                         John
                         Ann Farey      children of Samuel & Mary   a lab of Lavendon

  17 Dec 1817  Joseph Farey
  3 June 1821 Sarah  Farey
  17  Aug 1823 George Fairy   all to Samuel & Mary.

   Also earlier... William son of Samuel & Mary Farry( had to blow the image up to see clearly)
                         March 1805  no clear date

                       Elizabeth Farry april 12 1807.

  William b 1805 baptises his first in Lavendon in 1828.

  No Fairy families on Posse comitatus for Lavendon.

The baptisms tie up with what's on the IGI

I see the marriage was by licence, are these held anywhere do you know ?

Samuel seems to have died prior to 1841 as on that census in Lavendon is Mary Farey age 60, daughter Ann age 25 & son George 1823, there is also an Elizabeth age 5

It is suggested to me that Samuel was son of John Fairey & Elizabeth Barnes who married in Felmersham in Oct 1781; & Samuel's baptism there on 22 July 1792 .  But I dispute that, as unless his baptism was late & the PR does not state his age,  he'd be only 12 at the marriage.

  I will ask about the marriages lic next time I go... depends who's in as to how much help I get.
  Burials ... forgot to look but as I am still following a few minor leads on some of mine I can slip in another visit to look.
