Ann BIRNES/BYRNES- CARROLL...HELP!!!
« on: Wednesday 11 March 09 03:58 UTC (UK) »

I am trying to track an Ann Birnes of Queens County and would appreciate any help available!!!

Ann BIRNESwas born circa 1808
She married one Anthony CARROLL circa 1830
She had at least 3 children - Ann born circa 1831, Anthony born circa 1838 and Henry born circa 1839.
Husband Anthony CARROLL died circa 1844.
Ann worked as a Dairywoman.
Ann had a brother- Pat BYRNE living in Kildare in 1848 when she was convicted and sentenced to transportation.

I have all this information from her convict indent when she was transported to Tasmania Australia in 1848/9.

I would very much like to know more about her- who her parents and siblings were, where she came from in Queens County, about her husband, what her cicumstances were when she was convicted, and if she had any other children.

If anyone could help with any information about this family- I would be very grateful!
