Can't see the wood for the !!!

Bug Hole /HollyHall pub
« on: Wednesday 11 March 09 13:57 UTC (UK) »

Hi
I have found a couple at 6 Bug Hole listed as Publicans on the 1851 and 1861 censuses
I have found entries in Slaters Direstory 1851 and the PO Directory 1850 but the directories say the pub is The Kings Head, Holly Hall is this the same pub? Does anyone know anything about the house?  Is it still around under a different name or has it disappeared altogether?
I will be grateful for any help

I have not had any success with other specialist sites finding the above pub and now have also found these:
The Old Coach and Horses has Samuel Share listed as publican 1881-1896(censuses and trade Directories) as 7 Stourbridge Rd Holly Hall now is there any possibility that this is the present Old Coach and Horses listed at 169 Stourbridge Road Does any one know it?

The King William 8 Pensnett Rd I think this one still exists but I can't find anything about its history can anyone help?

The Seven Stars 20-21 Market Place it was kept by Joseph Share in 1896 but again I know nothing else the only Joseph I can find about that time was the bar man at the Old Coach and Horses (his father's pub in 1891 and he died in 1898 so did he take over the Stars for a short time?
I am still interested in The King's Head
So one has become 4 Dudley Pubs help I am seeing double double with this problem
