Personal messages - a question

Hi,

Still quite new to the site I'm afraid so this is probably a silly question but...

I have found a "look-up" offer that I am very interested in. Is it best to post my request on the "requests" board or is it OK to send a PM direct?? I have read the help page (which was very helpful!) but want to be sure to do this the correct way.

It is probably advisable to post on the requests board of the same area and if you wish send a PM to the original poster asking them t have a look at the request.

Amongst other things, Rootschat is an open research area and it is possible that your question may assist someone else or even that someone has already got further information t push your research onwards.

If you look on the left of your own post on the bottom you see a picture and a scroll?.When anyone wants to send a P.M. to you,they click on  the scroll  write  the post then send.So If you want to send a particular member a P.m you find a post for that member and do the same.
