 Please, would anyone be able to check the local churchyard in New Bradwell, Buckinghamshire for John Clamp born 1824. His son John Henry is buried there:
In loving memory of John Henry Clamp
who died 24 April 1919 age 54 years
I have not been able to locate a date of death for his father though. He was alive in 1901 census.
I live in the US and would appreciate any help.  Smiley

New Bradwell was a town built for the railway works at Wolverton.  It was built in 1859 and the church opened in 1860.  The new church of St James which was built in the 1850s as a replacement for St Peter's at Stanton Low.

Initially New Bradwell was called Stantonbury and was formed from the old parish of Stantonbury which had a population of about 40 people and part of the parish of Bradwell.

There is also a cemetary outside of New Bradwell on the Newport road but i'm not sure when the first burials were put there. This cemetary is still in use today, as my grandparents, an aunt and cousin are all in there.

If I get chance I will try to get up to both the church and cemetary to look around but may not be for another week or so (something called Work gets in the way  Cheesy )
