Rooting through my Roots

Marriage - Bletchley - WHARTON/TARBOX
« on: Saturday 14 March 09 21:28 UTC (UK) »

I am trying to get started with my Wharton side of the tree.  This is going to be the first step to get me to onto the Census's   I need someone to look up the marriage of:

Gilbert James WHARTON and Winifred TARBOX, They married at St Martins Church in Bletchley around 1929 - 1930.  Both are deceased.

My elderly uncle (a Baxendale) married into the Wharton family and he would like me to research his late wife's tree. He has tons of pictures but sadly none have names attached to them.  He knows very little about my aunts family other than her parents names,  no DOB's or anything.

He knows Gilbert was possibly born in Maids Moreton around 1900 but thats all.

I really would appreciate this, it would mean a lot to him,

I live in Halifax, WRY, so if anyone would like me to reciprocate a look up there, i would be more than happy to oblige.

Marriage is transcribed.

http://www2.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/information.pl?r=158389821&d=bmd_1235512333

1911 infers she was b 1906 in Bucks.
1901 the family should be in Stoke Hammond.

Gilbert James Wharton appears to be born 1909.
I think this 'un is an elder sibling. http://www2.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/information.pl?r=100153184&d=bmd_1235512333
