Hi,
I am having trouble finding the birth of Agnes McFarlane,she was born in Dumbarton about 1814/15.I have searched Scotland's people without finding her. She died in 1906 High street Dumbarton at the home of her daughter Cathrine Cameron( mn Hunter) Agnes was Haggart at the time of her death.Her parents on death certificate are John McFarlane & Agnes McGown,I have been unable to find their marriage,not having much luck!!!!any help please

Thisis the closest birth I can find
Born 29/08/1822 MACFARLANE AGNES JOHN MACFARLANE/CATHERINE MCGOWN F Dumbarton /DUNBARTON 496/ 0060 0041 (Again on Scotland's People)
Am assuming you are using the death cert as indication of year of birth. Need to be a wee bit careful with that as they can often give age at death wrong - also not unusual for pareents details not to be quite right. This was largely down to the person who was the informant giving over incorrect info.

Yes thats my Agnes Married first John Hunter 10/01/1837 Buchanan,second Peter Haggart 12/10/1846 Buchanan I have Agnes on 1881 census on her own & aged 66,so I think 1814/15 is about right for birth year.
