Evelyn Ruth Parsons Emigrated from England c. 1930

A long shot, but I believe my great grandmother emigrated to Canada anytime after 1927.  She left behind my grandfather aged about 12yrs.  She was born in Hounslow, England in 1897 and on his birth certificate described herself as a professional singer.

If this is true I just wonder what happened to her, did she have a family life in Canada, does she have any descendants?

Does anyone have any advice on how I can start tracking down what happened to her, with such limited information from the UK?

Finding her emigration would have to be your first step, I think.

I had a look here, but not much luck.

shows some Evelyn Parsons, one b. 1898ish headed to NY in 1930 (could have then gone over the border?)

That Evelyn Parsons was born Baltimore, Maryland and returning there.
