Fressingfield Tudor Celebrations - May 2009
« on: Wednesday 18 March 09 09:55 UTC (UK) »

500th Anniversary of Fressingfield Guildhall
(now the Fox and Goose)
1st - 3rd May 2009

Fressingfield Local History and Archive Group celebrations will take place over the May Day Bank Holiday in and around the Sancroft Hall, the Fox and Goose, the Church and on the Church Meadow.

This is a celebration in recognition of our heritage as seen in the beautiful old buildings one of which is the Fox and Goose.

Events and activities over the three days will include a market and fair, food and drink, demonstrations of traditional crafts and skills, music, drama and dancing, coronation of the May Queen, commemorative crafts, sports and pastimes, costume and an exhibition about the history of the Guildhall - with everything being as authentically Tudor as it can possibly be!

For further information please contact Pennie Walker (details via PM to me please)
