Help Please Need To Find Birth Certificate

Hi
Trying to find a Birth certificate for John Morgan Born in 1851 somewhere in Down. his Mother was Mary and I believe his father was James Morgan but not 100% certain. Mary was born in Antrim in 1827and James 1820 and was a Captain in Enniskillin Dragoons

There were no birth certificates before the start of civil registration in 1864 so you need to search for church records (if they exist) but to do so you need to know the family's religion and where they lived (parish if not actual townland not just the county).
There are lots of Morgans from Co. Down listed here so you could take a look and see if any of your Morgans might be listed-
