Patrick Haggart bap 9 Dec 1791 in Killin parents James Haggart and Betty McNab  -looks like  the likely candidate?

From IGI (Extracted) Children of Peter Haggart and Janet McNaughton
JANET Ch.  4th Dec 1818 Killin
BETTY Ch. 19th Sep 1824 Balquidder
JOHN b. 21st Mar 1828 Aberfoyle
CHRISTIAN b. 15th May 1830 Aberfoyle
DUNCAN b. 23rd Mar 1832  Aberfoyle
ISABELLA b 1st May 1834 Aberfoyle
JANET b. 6th Ch. 10th Dec 1837 Aberfoyle

Have you found then in any census records?

If they survived past 1855 and died in Scotland their death certificates should give the parents names (if they were known by the person registering the death)

Hi Kirsty
Looks like I may have elected for the wrong patrick/peter - would have expected the oldest son to be named after his dad.... Did you look for Peters birth?
Cheers

Morning
I have searched both Scotlands People & IGI for Peters birth I think it could be around 1820 that would make him the first son,I have taken 1820 to be the most likely date  from his age at marriage & on census & death certificate,I have His parents marriage from Scotlands People but as you know in 1818 no parents were recorded
I will keep looking thanks for your help, you have the right Haggarts from IGI Kirsty but missing Peter. They did have a son Peter he married Agnes McFarlane 12/10/1846 Buchanan.
