"Complete" Lewis Hind was he a reporter

I have found an obituary for my G Grandfathers brother and in it is mentioned a story written by "The late Lewis Hind" as he travelled through Barnard Castle for the Daily Chronicle (I think he was the papers travel writer.)

My G Grandfathers brother died in Feb 1928 and the only Lewis Hind death that I have found is in FreeBMD Q2/1895 10b page 319 aged 55 in Carlisle, does anyone know if this is him

and family

Wife was a widow in 1901.
