Posting my 'brickwalls'!
WALL - 1800-1887. Great grandfather, William and wife, Agnes [unknown], Carlisle.
Son, Robert William [b1840], married Mary NOBLE, before 1865. She b1839, parents unknown, and died between 1884 and 1887, when Robert William migrated to Australia with Thomas, Agnes, James. After getting established he went back for the younger children and Agnes LONGRIGG. Have no idea where they were living whilst he was in Aus, or when he went back for them. Robert was a builder. I have them in the 1881 Census.
Children: Thomas, b1865, St Bees Agnes, b1869, Gateshead, DUR James, b1870, Gateshead, DUR - my grandfather Henry, b1875, Frizington - married cousin, Agnes LONGRIGG, b1884, Carlisle Robert, bc1878, Brampton Mary, bc1884, Brampton.
Can anyone help with any information on these 'brickwalls'!

Dear Jim
Thank you for your prompt reply - it definitely looks like them!
I spent half my life spelling my surname and the rest of it repelling 'funny' jokes about brickwalls, especially 'funny' when all the family were builders!! It didn't improve when I married a Wood, then I got can't see the wood for the trees! Must be warped Aussie humour!
Yes, if it is possible I would like a image please - I try and confirm my results like a good 'genie'!
My email is jleewoodATbigpond.com. Moderator comment - Email amended to show AT not @ in accordance with rootschat policy
Thanks once again - this family is a BIG problem!
Regards Janice
