Mary Ann Owens - The bravest woman I never knew

Hello again all,
After a few months of research on the Hatley's and the Munns, I have managed to find out a few more pieces of information. There are still a few gaps however and I was wondering if you have time could you please look for the following in the Fordham PR's.
Jane Hatley burial between 1861-71, she was an elderly woman of about 82-86. She is on the 1861 census in Carter Street, Fordham as a midwife!!!
Her husband Edward was dead before 1841 and he may also be buried in Fordham. He was still alive in 1819 though, which gives a 20 yer period...dont wory about this one too much if it takes up too much time!

Try:
1. http://www.cfhs.org.uk/Search.html for the burial of Edward. There are two in Fordham 1801-37. You don't give likely ages so I can't tell which might be yours
2. www.freebmd.org.uk for the death of Jane. There's one in 1862 in Downham registration district which includes Fordham

Thankyou David, would you believe both Edward's are mine. The burial in 1831 is the one I was after, and the one in 1833 was a son. I have also found some more family burials from the link you gave me, so thankyou It has also helped me add a few rellies to the tree this afternoon!

Hi,
Edward Hatley was buried 18 Dec 1831 age 53
Edward was buried 17 Jan 1833 age 23
My parish registers only go up to 1852 but on the Cambridgeshire burial index Jane Hatley was buried in Fordham in 1875 age 98.
