Herbert Poole music hall artiste

Has anyone come across a Herbert Poole, no d/o/b. Lived in Glasgow, but as far as I know was born in Newcastle.
He was my grandfather. and toured with my grandmother, ( Although were not married) I know her stage name was Lena Russel. I do not know Herberts.
They belonged to a troop, which toured around Scotland, visiting village, town halls.
But again I have no idea, I do have a photo of them.
If anyone has any thoughts, as to where I might be able to find information, on musical troops.
Or if anyone has a Herbert Poole in their tree, who was a music hall artiste.
I would love to hear your thoughts.
