I am looking for a Thomas Knight-Barnard (the name could have been either knight or barnard! really not sure). He was definately living on Rodborough Common at some point in the early 1900's in a large house thought to be called Ravenswood or something like that.

Just at the moment I'm sitting in my office looking out over Rodborough Common (not that I can see much of it at this time of night )
Have you any idea how early in the 1900's your Thomas might have been here? Any other information you have would help a lot. I could then check out some local sources for you.
I came across the following registrations of births on FreeBMD and thought they might be of interest.
Joan Knight-Barnard Qtr to June 1904 in the District of Stroud Edgar Knight-Barnard Qtr to Sept 1905 in the District of Stroud
I'm not sure how these tie in with Thomas, but at least it proves that the surname was Knight-Barnard!
Best wishes,
Ju
