Santus birth 1814 help please

According to census, James Santus was born at Weedon Barracks, Northampton in 1814. Does anyone know how I can find the record of his birth, baptism or parents please.  Edward Santus was born France 1817 British Subject and I want to find out if they are brothers.

A quick check of the Northants. MI (1700-1837) reveals absolutely no male SANTUS marriages.

I have access to the parish registers of Weedon Bec (the village adjacent to the barracks) but am not at all sure whether these would include barracks records.  It may be worth making some enquiries of the NRO to see if they are included - I would then be happy to have a look for you!

The NRO archivist was very helpful. - not sure where the barracks records are but will do a search for me.  Thankyou for your suggestion.  I have not been researching very long and still do not know what help is available.  Didn't think of emailing NRO.  I'll let you know the results.

I had a reply from Northampton record office and they were unable to find any James Santus.  They did say that not all records of army baptisms were kept.  Thankyou for you help anyway.  I am glad I wrote to NRO even though the search was unsuccessful.
