Hi,
My GGgrandfather Robert Conning, a seaman,  married Catherine Green in St Munchins on 28 June 1840. They then had 4 children in Isle of Whithorn in Scotland and subsequently came to Australia.
Does anyone know how I could get hold of the marriage record?

Parish record transcripts for Limerick (city &  county) are included on the Irish Family History Foundation website at www.irish-roots.ie (pay site)

The index is free to search and I see a marriage record for a Robert Conning in 1840 - there does look to be a match to a Catherine Green in the same year. The parish seems to be St Munchins, Church of Ireland
