Sunnybank Orphanage - Arnside

I am looking for any information on the Sunnybank Orphanage in Arnside. My grandfather was adopted through the Hostel of Hope in Liverpool but the headed notepaper with his adoption papers refers to the Sunnybank orphanage, Arnside.

I have come across a number of people looking for information on the same subject but none of us seem to have got very far. Any assistance would be marvelous.

Try mailing the record office at Kendal with your queary,If they cannot help you at least they may point you in the right direction,

Do you know whether the premises are now being used for  Leeds Children's Holiday Home?If it is I think it may come under Silverdale,went past it about two weeks ago.Try putting Silverdale in your searches it may bring something up.
