Hello. I'm compiling a history of Green Road, Poole. I would love to hear from anyone who lived there before c.1970 or who's family were long term residents of Green Road. Also, from anyone who has photos taken in the Road or who worked at the Gas Works or Pottery. Thanks. Regards. Morten

Hi Morten,

Can I suggest that you also contact the local newspaper (The Echo), local radio station (2CR FM) and the Dorset Family History Society?

Poole Museum or the Dorset History Centre might  be able to help with photographs.

My grandparents and great grandparents are in in Green Road on the 1911 at no 54 and 56.
