I can't seem to find this person - Charles Parker.
He was born in Eastbourne in 1866, He is listed on the 1871 census with his family but then he vanished! Can't find any death date for him either. By 1881 he would have been 15, but can't find any trace of him.
1871:
4 Timber St, South. St. Thomas, Lewes, Sussex.
Head of household: Lucy Parker - labourers wife. 29 years old.
Son: Charles, 5.
Daughter: Caroline, 3.
Son: Hubert H., 7 months.
Can trace every other brother and sister, but Charles is my missing link.
Any pointers? I was thinking maybe he joined the navy or something?
How can someone just vanish?!

Success!
Charles was born out of Wedlock - was actually a Colabeen. His mother had him down as a Parker (possibly to save face at the time).

Success so far...
However, I've lost him again 
Charles Colobeen (or any derivative) doesn't appear in any records after 1881!
So I'm missing him in 1891, 1901, 1911.
No marriages or deaths either....
Can anyone help?
He can't have disappeared....could he?
