 Just wondering if anyone could look up pre 1855 MI"s in Dumferline or Torryburn for John Hunter and his wife Catharine Drummond?

hi, nothing in Dunfermline, lots of Hunters though.,

Torryburn:
John Hunter died 15/3/? age 39 (east side,faint)   1793 (west side)     might not be yours.

The death index has several john Hunters in Dund. & Torryburn - can you give me some idea of date?

I think that John Hunter was born around 1750 no idead about Catharine Drummond tho. They were married November 1771.
Children ?female-1772 born , Margaret-1774, John-1777, Robert-1781 : these children were christianed in Torryburn. Other children Mary- 1784?, Margaret-1784, Elizabeth-1787, Jean - 1790, not exactly sure where these children were born. And the last child Jane born 1793 in Crawfordjohn, Lanarkshire.

HI, if they were in Lanarks for the last child they might be buried there?

possibles from Torryburn though:

Catherine Hunter.  bur 3/8/1773  dau of John Hunter.  (prob 1772/3 birth - named after mother?)

John Hunter bur 23/11/1834.
