Looking for John Maundrell Wheeler born 1878 Bemerton.
Son of William H Wheeler and his 2nd wife, Jane (nee Offer) - in 1891 he is living in Gorringe Rd, Salisbury with his parents. After that he disappears. Where did he go ?
I cannot see either a marriage or a death for him.

Cant find him anywhere else,although there are 2 other Wheelers on this ship,
both Crown Agents but did not disembark at Madras.

Brionne - This is definitely him, so where had he been between 1891 & 1938 ?
Can't see a marriage for him to Annie Catherine - so perhaps took place abroad ? India ?

I see that the IGI has an extracted record for his christening at Fisherton Anger, 14 April 1878.
There is also another child of William and Jane Wheeler who was christened at Fisherton Anger, Sidney Wheeler, 28 March 1875

Burma, a Pilot for the Rangoon Pilot Sevice.

Beth - Thanks for your post.
I'm OK with John (and the rest of the family) up to 1891. Where he went to from then until Brionne's Passenger List sighting of him in 1938 is the puzzle.
For info - Sidney, the brother, dies before 1881.
