Morrison/McMillan in Killean

Does anyone have any marriage/death info. for Donald McMillan (b. Killean 7 Sep 1803) and Jean McKinlay (b. Killean 22 Jan 1822)? Their daughter Mary's (b. Killean 3 Nov 1844) marriage certificate (Greenock 6 Mar 1866) to Duncan Morrison (b. Killean 7 Sep 1821) states that Donald McMillan was deceased but Mary was still alive.

I'd appreciate any help that anyone can provide.

Allowing for approximations in ages, these look likely;

Archd McMillan 59, Head, Farmer, Killean 
Donald McMillan 50, Brother, Killean
Jean McMillan 24, Brother's Wife, Killean 
Mary McMillan 8 
Alexr McMillan 4 
Jean McMillan 2 
Duncan McMillan 6 Mo

All living at 'Faychroman' (almost certainly a mistranscription) - Ref Parish: Killean and Kilchenzie; ED: 2; Page:  6; Line: 14

This appears to suggest both alive in 1851.  I think your best bet would be to spend a little money on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk to look for death records (hoping they're after 1855 of course!)

If they are the correct family - they're still in situ in 1861;

This time the address is shown as Taychroman - perhaps Tayinloan which is a couple of miles from Killean itself?

Thanks Kennyg for your efforts. I think these census records are authentic to my McMillan ancestors. I've even found a census record for them in 1871, by which time Mary and Duncan had left home. (Mary was married in 1866.) But her marriage certificate (From Scotland's People) states that her father Donald was deceased. Perhaps there are two families with the same names. Is it possible that SP has lost Donald's death certifictate somewhere along the way? I've not been able to find it.

Thanks for the suggestion about the mistranscription of their residence. I'd been wondering about it.
