The volume number and page number that you have refer to the copies held by the General Register Office. You need to apply for their marriage certificate. The information contained will be exactly the same as that in the parish register.
To order one on line see

Looks like he had one before that also.

Maggie May if you search under Tunn it will bring up the other apprentice.
Mary J was with James Tunn who came from Souldrop in the 1901 census.

There's more ......
Mary Jane BETTLES was baptised at Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire on 26 June 1887. She was the youngest child of Robert BETTLES and Mary Grace TUNN who had married at Sharnbrook on 18 Jul 1870. Their other children were (all baptised at Sharnbrook):
William Robert bp 26 Mar 1871 Catherine Mary bp 31 Jan 1875 Matthew Henry bp 8 Sep 1878 Jessie Tunn bp 16 Jul 1882
Robert BETTLES was baptised at Souldrop, Bedfordshire on 11 Aug 1850, the youngest child of William BETTLES and Hannah BIRD who had married at Souldrop on 22 Oct 1830. Their other children were (all baptised at Souldrop):
Sarah bp 29 Jan 1832 Mary Ann bp 26 Jan 1834 William bp 17 Apr 1836 John bp 10 Jun 1838 Humphrey bp 16 Aug 1840 Elizabeth bp 11 Dec 1842 Hannah bp 11 Aug 1850
William's wife died some time between 1848 and 1851 as is shown by the family's entry in the 1851 census:
HO107/1751 Folio 106 Schedule 44 - Village of Souldrop, Bedfordshire
William BETTLES, Head, Widr, 41, Ag lab, born Beds, Souldrop Sarah BETTLES, Dau, Unm, 19, Lace maker, born Beds, Souldrop Mary BETTLES, Dau, Unm, 17, Lace maker, born Beds, Souldrop William BETTLES, Son, Unm, 15, Ag lab, born Beds, Souldrop John BETTLES, Son, 13, Ag lab, born Beds, Souldrop Humphrey BETTLES, Son, 10, Ag lab, born Beds, Souldrop Elizabeth BETTLES, Dau, 8, Scholar, born Beds, Souldrop Hannah BETTLES, Dau, 6, Scholar, born Beds, Souldrop Robert BETTLES, Son, 3, born Beds, Souldrop Hannah BETTLES, Mother-in-Law, Widow, 80, Pauper (washing woman), born Northamptonshire, Sywell
William BETTLES was baptised at Souldrop on 17 Jun 1810, the son of William BETTLES and Hannah. I have not found a marriage for this couple but they baptised the following children at Souldrop:
Ann bp 15 Jul 1798 Elizabeth bp 4 Oct 1801 Mary bp 27 May 1804 Martha bp 12 Jun 1808 William 17 Jun 1810 Hannah bp 28 Jul 1816
I haven't found a baptism for the elder William but suspect that he was baptised at Bozeat, Northamptonshire, where the christian name Humphrey has been used for several generations. This parish seems to be where all BETTLE(S) originated from. Such a pity that the registers were destroyed in 1729 by a fire at the church and all Northamptonshire BTs were destroyed by fire at the Diocesan repository in 1707. Were it not for that I might have managed to find my George BETTLE years ago!
Maggie May, if you can find the burial of the elder William at Souldrop (try a message on the Bedfordshire Board) with his age, I may be able to identify him in the Bozeat registers.

Yes, very likely. In fact I did have that marriage in my files but completely overlooked it. The actual date is 2 Oct 1794, both bride and groom made their mark and the marriage was witnessed by Mary ROUGHTON and Robert TWELTREE.

Hi Sandy and Orpheus, This is all very interesting as I have an Arthur Berwick who is george's brother married to a martha Twelfree. In irthlingborough Could it be a connection to this Robert Tweltree with a slightly different spelling ? By the way Orpheus I will put a listing on the Bedfordhire site as have another to do there as well. Many thanks to you and Sandy.
