Hi All

I run the Woburn Sands / Aspley Heath local history Website at:

www.mkheritage.co.uk/wsc

The town is on the Beds & Bucks border.  I have some census records, church registers, directories, local postcards, interesting stories, War Memorial research etc and its all free.  Please have a look, and if your family has a connection, or you have something you could add, please let me know.

Good hunting!

Paul

If you have a connection to these men, please contact me.

Woburn Sands & Aspley Guise history site

I was interested to see the earlier post about Aspley Guise families and wondered if you were aware of the great website developed by a local amateur historian which covers the Woburn Sands and Aspley Guise areas. It has some really useful genealogical info from Woburn Sands parish registers and also transcripts from census for the area.

There is also a very interesting collection of pictures and postcards along with some more detailed history on local names and landmarks.

For anybody interested in this corner of Beds/Bucks this is a great source of historical info.

Hope it helps somebody out there as much as it has helped me.
