I'm trying to trace the parents of Elizabeth Beaver.  I'll start off with what I think is correct.

Thomas Perkins was baptised 18/5/1787 at Wokingham, his parents were Thomas and Elizabeth.

Thomas and Elizabeth had a number of children from 1785 to 1802.
I have found a marriage for a Thomas Perkins to Elizabeth Beaver at Shinfield dated 13/8/1785.

I have also found 5 Christenings for Elizabeth Beaver at Wokingham from 1761 to 1770.  There are earlier ones but I think these are too early.

Would anyone be able to advise me how I work out which of the 5 is the correct one?

Crikey, you're doing well - 5 children with the same name baptised in the same parish within 9 years.

Looking at them on the IGI, it looks as if the last 2 (April and Jun 1770) are the same child - d/o John & Sarah. Don't know why she would be baptised twice though. Perhaps it was just a clerical or transcription error. I have noticed that , if the original PR entry has a doubt over the exact date, the IGI tends to enter the event twice, covering both dates.

So, hopefully that brings us down to 4! They all have different parents. Is it possible to kill any of them off!!   Shocked perhaps some of the children died in infancy.

What were the names of Thomas & Elizabeth's other children? Any named after the 4 sets of possible parents?
