Hi Andrew

Do you know when/where David WEBB died?  Just wondering if you can get any useful info ie. age/date of birth/burial/obituary etc. that way Huh

Also, have you located David & Ethel in the 1911 census http://www.1911census.co.uk/?  If not, do you happen to know where they lived after their marriage or when/where was their oldest child was born?  What about world war one - do you know what David did then - sometimes you can get a date and place of birth from any surviving military records?

William Webb - 47 - Guilden Morden - Ag Lab
Ann Webb - 41 - Guilden Morden - Ag Lab Wife
John Webb - 16 - Guilden Morden - Ag Lab
David Webb - 14 - Guilden Morden - Ag Lab
George Webb - 13 - Guilden Morden - Ag lab
Elizabeth Webb - 11 - Guilden Morden - Scholar
Martha Webb - 9 - Guilden Morden - Scholar
Frank Webb - 6 - Guilden Morden - Scholar

But The Thing is They Were All Born In The Same Place so I Dont Know, Although My Grandfather Said That Our Family Were From Hertfordshire Also, I Found Another Family In Hitchin Which james Webb & Lucy Webb Were Born...

Caleb Webb - 54 - Hitchin - Sawyer
Ann Webb - 53 - Hitchin - Ateends To Family
Ellen Webb - 22 - Hitchen - Straw Plaiter
Alice Webb - 13 - Hitchin - Straw Plaiter
George C Webb - 2 - Hitchin
Minnie Webb - 7m - Hitchin

But They Also Didnt Move From Hitchin By The Looks Of Things....

I Did Find One more George Webb... Who Would Have Been 6 In The 1891 Census, But I Cant Find Any Records... His Name Was George William Webb From Guilden Morden... If There Is Any Information That You have On Any Of These Familys Then Please Would You Share it With Me  Thanks ....

My Great Great grandfathers Name Was Definately George Webb .. Not David Webb... Smiley

See reply #16 on one of your other threads http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,371456.new.html#new

You've flip flopped between the father being George - David- George again. The only way you're going to know for sure is to buy the marriage cert - you say in another post "So Im Just Going To Do Guess Work". That's a recipe for disaster!

Yes But i know for sure his name was george now, because my grandad said that his dads middle name was named after his father george... his name was James G Webb... and also guilden morden is a small place and theres not going to be many george webs born on a certain year in that place, so im sure it will not be very hard to find, maybe who knows but i would nt know where to start to get their birth certificate so im just going to find any information i can out first.
