Charles COUGHTREY - Aylesbury Quarter Sessions

Hello,
I am trying to track down an ancestor by the name of Charles Coughtrey (Coughtry, Caughtry). He was born in 1810 in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, England. He was the son of William and Martha Coughtrey. In 1841 he was sentenced to 6 months hard labour at Aylesbury Quarter Sessions. Is there a site I can go to to find what his crime was. I do not know if he was married at the time. Would an 1841 census have his location listed? I do not know very much about this ancestor other than he would have died after his sentencing in 1841. Any assistance regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Bucks County Council have the site  Victorian Prisoners in Buckinghamshire.  If you google this you can then search the database.  The site is too late for your Charles but a John Coughtrey in 1878 does appear.

Thank you very much. I found John, an ancestor who I did not realize was sentenced to the Aylesbury Gaol.
