Index to Irish civil registrations show the marriage:
Eliza Ashman, 1868, Sligo registration district, volume 17 page 363
Patrick Moran     (same details)
http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=collectionDetails;t=searchable;c=1408347

The above details I've posted are what you need to order the marriage certificate from GRO, Dublin.

There are towns/townlands named Ballymena/Ballymenagh in Counties Antrim, Down, Londonderry and Tyrone but could be others in South of Ireland.

Hi Mary, Thanks for the help, this is probably Elizabeths parents, I can only assume,. that whoever, registered her death, did'nt know the parents names, as I have got the poor law records for Elizabeth, and she states her parents are Robert Ashman (Blacksmith) and Margaret Fay she states that they are in America, so I wonder if they went away when she was young, and he relatives brought her up, and that is why there names have been put down in her death cert, can I ask where are you getting your information, I have been on to the Ulster records, but it is costing a fortune, thank the lord for the good Scotlands People, you get more for your money there
