how to order marriage certificate

I need to order a marriage certificate l have found what l believe is the correct index info. 
But l am trying to find where to go, to to order it.
There seems to be lots of sites that charge high rates is there a General office for Eire.  My friend is a pensioner so l don't want to cost her to much money. Any ideas

Hi here is the website you can download the forms from there a photocopy cost 6euro and official record cost 10euro

A tip is to include the volume no. and page number of the record you are requesting  you can find this on the family search pilot project

edit : just spotted that Gerard has already replied....

The web address for the GRO of Ireland is : www.groireland.ie

a research cert (a photocopy of the register) will cost about €6

the details they need to find the cert are :

   Full Name (both names if you know them)
   Year/Quarter of the marriage (early records only require year)
   registration district
   volume number
   page number

PPS is a modern social services number - the form is set up for living people requiring copies of their own or relative's certs.  Just fill in what you have and put in the year, district, quarter and volume/page number with the names and they should find it.
