Ada Annie Bourke born 1890 Tasmania ?

To parents Joseph Burke  and Mary short
Would anyone be able to give me a date for this birth please and if there are any more details on the parents.
Also any siblings she has.

i have been to the colonial website and got basic names and dates but that's all from there.

Also the marriage between Ada Annie Bourke and Stanley George Clark in Tasmania

any assistance would be grateful

Mary short is a problem  Sad i know she had a sister catherine short who married a peter price.  but apart from that. Very scant details....

In her husband Joseph burkes will he called her Mary Janet..

Nope checked it out and all  it says  is witnesses as A Daniel Burke and a Hannah Burke.

This could be his parents? or his brother and sister.
I just dont know as i cant find them either Undecided

There is this marriage at Port Sorell in 1887 4 days prior to Joseph's and Mary's.

BURKE Daniel  30 years
DICKENS Mary Teresa 22 years
23 Apr 1887  At Port Sorell  Reg#791/1887  Ref RGD37

and this birth

BURKE Hannah Catherine
Father Richard Mother NORMAN Louisa
8 Feb 1864  Campbell Town  Reg#124/1864  Ref RGD33


I can't see any SHORT info apart from Catherine's marriage to Peter PRICE ie no births for Catherine or Mary.

So Daniel and hannah could be Siblings then to Joseph..
Least that's another line to follow..

If Hannah was born in Tasmania and was a sister then you would think that Joseph and Daniels births would be there too though i would have thought. Undecided

i was looking at a voters list for 1919 and in St Patrick's river where Joseph lived there were a couple of Bourke

Mary Jane (Jospeh's wife)

Herbert Tasman Bourke
Gertrude Bourke
Frank Henry Bourke
Christina Bourke
and a Adye Charles. Bourke

Seeing as St pats is a little place then possible these might be family as well.

Who knows  Undecided 

And on Josephs will his name now has a (O)

Was wondering if i could get another look up please.

It looks like Mary short. Joseph burkes first wife died.
Possibly after the birth of her 6 child Adolphus Bourke..

Joseph Bourke Snr  remarried to A mary Jane someone.
And have gone on to have more children.  could be up to 10 from what i was told.

So Joseph Burke (Bourke) married a Mary Jane?
children 's names that i know from this second marriage
are

Herbert Bourke (Possibly a poet). He was blinded in an accident
Amy Bourke.  Who might have married a  (Jim) Huston
Frank Bourke
Nita Bourke?

any assistance with this new unexpected line Roll Eyes Cheesy would be very appreciated .

joseph and mary's kids were my mums uncles and aunt. mary born 1866, died 1902. joseph born 1863, died 1942 they had 10 kids together before she died or whatever happened. he remarried mary janet maria riggs and they had more kids. but mary shorts sister is my greatgrandmother and her name is christiana hannah short born 1857, died 1951 and she was married to joseph's brother john.

Ive gained quiet a tree on the bourkes and families.
