George Olsen (my Grandad) Royal Artillery, WW2
HELP WITH JOB DESCRIPTIONS

I am looking for some help to the occupation of my Great Grandfather, Albert Olsen.

His death notice in the HDM stated he worked for the LNER between 1906 and 1933. During that time he mainly resided in Beeton Street and Rosemead Street so I am assuming he would have worked on the LNER docks as the occupations listed on the various certificates I have include Merchant Seaman, Engine Driver (Railway), (Steam Hopper) and (Dredger), Marine Engine Driver (Docks) and Marine Engineer.
