Hi,
Is there anyone that can do a look up for me at the LMA as I am stuck with my family tree. I already have a William Lamb born 1817 St Mary's, Newington, Surrey along with his siblings. I know his parents names are Thomas and Ann and it is these two that I need information on (births, Ann's maiden name and names of parents for both etc)
I would be very grateful if anyone can help me.

Hi Pauline,
Thanks for getting back to me. I got the original information from the IGI (familysearch site) and looked up the marriage for Thomas and Ann, I found one in 1830 to an Ann Davis but it states that there is no children whereas the William Lamb that I have was born 1817 to parents Thomas and Ann, so I presume this marriage isn't correct, I am now very stuck.

I live in the county of Derbyshire so London is a bit far for me to visit without staying over which is difficult as I have a young daughter.

Ann,
Do you have parents Thomas and Ann on any censuses? If so you might get a clue about where to look for their births and marriage.

Thanks for those. The reason I asked is that I saw a Thomas with daughter Eliza in Newington on the 1841 census - but it's not yours in that case ... 
I'll have a look around and see if I can find any of them.
