John Luffman of Milborne Port

John, widower of Milborne Port married Mary Hicks by licence there on 21.5.1810. He appears in the 1841 census as aged 65 approx. Does anyone know where he was born please?

Hi

The John Luffman aged 65 was living in Stourton Candle in 1841 and is shown as not born in county so he appears to have been born outside of Dorset

There is a Julia Luffman aged 25 - born in county living with him but no other Luffman's

Thanks Julia, I am trying to clear him out of the way as a possibility for John Lufman b 1776 Henstridge, who I believe was my 2 great grandfather, he is the only other candidate for the honour! The out of county looks worrying as Henstridge is in Somerset.
