tenant list for McKenzie estate

I've just hit a brickwall while searching my MacDonald from Applecross, OPR on Scotland People are not going further back than 1797.

I was wondering if the MacKenzie estate in Ross and Cromarty (McKenzie, Applecross estate) has a list of tenants or a list of male living in the estate (ie for militia purpose) ... for the period pre 1797
and if such documents exist Huh

Thanks in advance for any help, clue and advice
