Mere Knolls Cemetery

is it possable for someone to please find the plot no of my great grandfather buried in mere knolls cemetery in 1932 his name was thomas f campbell and was born in 1852 also a photo of grave stone please if poss i will re enburse any expenses.thank you very very much

Chrisshow - I live quite close to Mere Knolls Cemetery and if you are able to find the Ward and Plot No I will go along and try to take a photo for you.

I believe that the burial registers are avaiable on microfilm at the Local Studies Library in the City of Sunderland Library in Fawcett Street.  You can find the  the Local Studies Library page at www.sunderland.gov.uk/libraries/local-studies.asp or email them at Local.Studies@sunderland.gov.uk

very sorry not to of replied to you before i have recently had major surgery and been UN able to access any mail i have not been able to get the plot no of my great grandfather if you can do anything to help it would be appreciated his name was Thomas F Campbell born 1852 and died 1932 his first wife was Margaret Conley and i don't know the name of second wife he had 13 children and was front page news on his death as being a primitive methodist minister for over 50 years the then mayor attended the service along with other dignitaries i have enclosed my personal e mail address for ease of replies
