KENNEDY/FRASER from Applecross and Vancouver

I am looking for the whereabout of Marjory FRASER, daughter of Ewan KENNEDY, born   circa 1879, Applecross, R &C, Toscaig) . Ewan KENNEDY was the son of Duncan KENNEDY and Matilda McLENNAN

According to family tradition she emigrated from Scotland to Canada (Vancouver)  in early 20th century.  An old family address book  (circa 1960s') found in the attic states : In Vancouver : daughter of Ewan Kennedy from Toscaig , Mrs Marjory Fraser 1224 Eldon Rd North Vancouver BC Canada ...

Who can help me on that (what is the best source to trace ancestors in Canada ??)

Gwenn02 I think you might get more notice with this request if you post it on the Immigrants to Canada Board.  The more information you can give the better, even if the dates are approximate.

I looked at the B.C. Archives and could find no information on a Marjory Fraser.

Do you have an approximate date she came to Canada and if she was married when she came.  It may be possible to find her on a ship's list going to Vancouver if we know her last name at time of immigration.  I can't check under either name as my subscription has run out but if you post it on the Canadian board they will help you.

You are more than welcome.....there are several people on that board from B.C. and they are excellent researchers, although the information available may be limited by privacy laws.
