a bit awkward but i will try to explain. thaomas evans was married to mary lythal. having two children.
they married in 1834 at claines. by 1841 he is still married to mary.
in 1851 thomas is a widower  in house of elizabeth hawker  and her children she is un married.
in 1861 thomas is now head of the householdliving with his dau aged 41 he is now down as 50. she is now down as a widow.
with the same children as the previous census but suddenly with a two year old the next child is ten. i am trying to find did thomas and elizabeth marry and is the two year old his child. her name was angelina hawker.

It looks like she was not married.

Christening, 11 JUL 1869, Worcester.

thank you very much , for the help perhaps thomas just lived with her/the family. i know when his wife died her mother had the children.
