Hi,

I am looking for any info on the above family business which was running in Hawick from 1901 till 1939.

It was started by my g-g-grandfather James Cairncross.  My g-grandfather George Henry Cairncross took over the business when his father died in 1927.  The business was sold in 1939 after the death of George.

I have searched the internet with no luck but hopefully someone in Hawick remembers them.
