I have Charles Bedford born 1821 in Arksey, Yorkshire.
From census records his wife is Elizabeth probably born c1825 in Holmer, Yorkshire.
Their children were born between 1848 and 1862 which might give a little help. After 1853 the children are shown as born in Hoyland, Yorkshire.
Would appreciate any help with marriage place and date.

Hello Martin 
I can only see two marriages for a Charles Bedford in Yorkshire between 1842 and 1849 - one in Sheffield Q4. 1843, but there is no Elizabeth on the page, and one in Tadcaster Q3. 1842 with an Elizabeth Knowles on the page.
The safest thing would be to get one of the children's birth certificates to find Elizabeth's maiden name -

Hello Mum,
Have received birth certificate for Mary Jane Bedford.
D O B: 12/08/1856
Father:Charles Bedford Iron furnaceman
Mother: Elizabeth Bedford formerly Saddler
Residence: Mitton Ironworks, Hoyland
1851 and 1861 census show Elizabeth coming from Holmes in Yorkshire.
Still no further forward with marriage of Charles and Elizabeth or Elizabeth's birth; in fact can't even find Holmes in Yorkshire.
