Got a 1933 marriage certificate stating marriage took place at Unitarian Chapel, Granville St, Swinton but when I try and locate it or research it I keep getting sent to a Methodist Chapel that was located on Swinton Hall Road (aka Jane Lane) Swinton.
I rather think think the Unitarian Chapel was on the corner of Jane Lane (Swinton Hall Road) and Granville Street. See: http://www.genuki.org.uk:8080/big/eng/LAN/Swinton/ and scroll down to Churches. The marker for the church indicates that it was the exact location against "somewhere around there"

a friend took me out for a spin and went via Swinton - finally found the road called Granville St which does run off Swinton Hall Road and leads to a car park / shopping centre complex n flats.
