Hiya Rootschatters, I hope someone can help me out here. This problem has been driving me crackers all night. Now I am looking under Robert REES, born 1841, Repton, Derbyshire. On 1881, he is Roberts REES (which got me, had to look under his wife Ann). It is his children I am looking at, here's what I have found....... 1871- Sarah Caroline REES, born 1871 1881- Catherine S REES, born 1871 which one is she? ? Someone please help, before I have computer rage lol. Thanx in advance, Lynn x

I would say it could even be Sarah Catherine..... I did a Freebmd search (just Derbyshire) for Rees in 1868-1874 and that is the only likely candidate but of course - you should double check it. Was your girl born in or near Burton?
Births Jun 1871 Burton 6b 365 Rees Sarah Catherine

There's an IGI record too...giving Robert and Ann as parents.... so it looks pretty good to me. Maybe they thought Caroline at first and then changed their minds before baptism. Or perhaps it was just written down wrong...who knows
