If anyone knows anything about a woman called Mary GRANT or LORAINE or VERITE WARD or VERITE LORRAINE or THOMAS or WATSON or LOVE born 23rd January 1914 please contact me. She was the daughter of Mary Love a music hall entertainer.
She died in a house fire in Brighton on 5th September 1976 and was thought by some to be a famous member of the Belgian and Dutch resistance. She was supposed to have had many near misses with the Germans and at one stage was arrested by the Gestapo was tortured but managed to escape. She reportedly had connections to the Dutch Royal family. After the war she was in Montreal for a while.
