I have been trying to find out about Bowden House in Chapel Street (known as Post Office Lane in the mid 1800s) - I have entries from the 1851 & 1881 censuses which give me names of occupiers then, but I'm also really keen to find an old photo or postcard which shows the property. It isn't easy for me to get to local record offices etc, so I'm hoping the good ol' Net can help !!

"Nor do I think that any other nation than this of Wales, or any other tongue, whatever may hereafter come to pass, shall on the day of the great reckoning before the Most High Judge, answer for this corner of the earth": The Old Man of Pencader to Henry II
Thanks for this - I will try & take a look this weekend
Cheers, Chris
