Abergele history

I have been trying to find out about Bowden House in Chapel Street (known as Post Office Lane in the mid 1800s) - I have entries from the 1851 & 1881 censuses which give me names of occupiers then, but I'm also really keen to find an old photo or postcard which shows the property. It isn't easy for me to get to local record offices etc, so I'm hoping the good ol' Net can help !!

I've not used it myself, but I've heard good reports about the staff. You could send an email:

They will at least be able to tell you which books you should look at - perhaps through an inter-library loan? Worth a try at least.
