Strand and Artillery Barracks, Limerick in 1919

My posting on the Army boards here was not successful, so I thought I would give it another go here!

I have recently received an Irish birth certificate giving the father's profession as a soldier, and his address as Gerryowen Villas, Limerick; I have read that these houses were used to accommodate soldiers from the Strand and Artillery Barracks in Limerick, and was hoping that someone might know which regiments were there at the time.

Here's hoping!

I have some ancestors listed in the Garryowen Villas slightly earlier in the century and they were all Royal Munster Fusiliers.
