 I am trying to trace my family in West Molesey Surrey. On my Mothers side Alfred Jasper Lock and Ellen Sarah Lock nee Sacker. On my Fathers side Arthur Thomas Perrin and Georgina Veronica nee Orvis/orwitz not sure of the spelling

Dear Peter My grandfather Alfred Jasper Lock was born on 25 4 1817 My grandmother Sarah Secker was born in Camberwell London. We do not have a birth date They were married in 1894.My parents Percy Perrin was born on 12 7 1911, My Mother Rose Nee Lock was born on 15 8 1916. We do not have any dates on my other grandparent Arthur Thomas Perrin and Georgina Veronica nee Orvis/orwitz.Any help would be great

Is it me or is there a mistake with your grandfather Alfred Lock's birth year(1817) as you say your mother Rose was born in 1916 this would make him 99 !!! when she was born.
Is this what is known as starting a family late in life.

Hi Barbara,
I have just come across this forum and have a little information that may help you.
My step-grandmother was Florence Vera Perrin, born 4th April 1903.
Her parents were Arthur Thomas Perrin and Georgina Perrin - I cant quite make out the maiden name.
Arthur (aged 20) and Georgina (aged 28) were married on October 19th 1901 and at that time Arthur lived in West End, Esher. Georgina lived at Walton-on-Thames.
Arthurs father is listed as Charles Perrin, a brewer.
Georginas father is George (Orvis?) a licensed victualler.
I have the original marriage certificate and Florences birth certificate also, although they are a little tricky to read. I also have a couple of photo's if you would like copies of them?
