Hi,
I have found a birth record on lds for I hope my G Grandmother Johanna Bridget Cardiff it lists the place of her birth as Tacuenehane Wexford, Ireland.

Could anyone tell me if this place actually exists or what it could be as I'm having absolutely no luck!

the closest I can think would be  : Tagunnan, maybe Tacumshin orTaghmon

I think the place you are looking for is Tachumshane in Co.Wexford.

Modern spelling is like Shane says Tacumshin.
