Dudley Clark(e) Mayo?
« on: Tuesday 07 April 09 13:30 UTC (UK) »

got a vague one here  lol,
Im trying to find a Dudley Clarke, very likely of Mayo...
I am guesstimating him to be born approx the turn of 1800...
He had a son, Michael Monaghan who left Ireland for England and came to Wolverhampton and married a Ellen Fibbin (several variations of that surname, filbin, filben etc)

Michael was born approx 1825-1831 "Ireland"

I know these are vague but I only have Dudleys name from his sons marriage cert,
Michaels age varies in censuses, but his marriage cert shows him to be born 1828

Hello,
I think you have the names wrong here - I remembered the name from earlier when I looked around for you so looked it up again.
Patrick Clarke is the son of Dudley Clarke (Monaghan was a different part of your family  Roll Eyes)
There was also a Dudley Clarke born about 1821 Ireland in the 1851 census in Wolverhampton too.

good luck

got a vague one here  lol,
Im trying to find a Dudley Clarke, very likely of Mayo...
I am guesstimating him to be born approx the turn of 1800...

He had a son Patrick Clarke who married a Bridget Sherdon or Churden(her surname has several variations

And yes I got mixed up there for a mo cos Im also doing my Monaghans right now...
for them Im after a Patrick Monaghan, also guesstimating him to be somewhere around the turn of 1800-ish

He had a son, Michael Monaghan who left Ireland for England and came to Wolverhampton and married a Ellen Fibbin (several variations of that surname, filbin, filben etc)

Michael was born approx 1825-1831 "Ireland"

Thanks heywood and nice to see you again
