Ballinadiahmore ? ?

A possible place name has turned up in my tree.
Ballinadiahmore
I've never seen this before. I'm pretty sure it's got to be Mayo but it doesn't ring any bells.
Anyone with a little local knowledge out there that can pin this area down?
Maybe the name has evolved into some other name.

It is showing a Ballinamore in Killedan Parish  Undecided

Was the place handwritten and open to interpretation?

A distant relation forked out some money for research and that name turned up.
I'll have to get back to her on where or how the name surfaced.
I suspect you've got a point on the handwriting.

I just realised  if you squint your eyes maybe the same address is Ballinacliath More.
This name had previously turned up.
This was transcribed from a parish Burriscarra marriage record in 1856. Ballinacliath More was given for the grooms address. And I'm assuming Burriscarra is the brides parish. But I'd guess they didn't live that far apart.

I would try looking the family name up in Griffiths Valuation to see if that rings any bells

I would have posted that site but I have tried (over and over again) to access it just now with no results so I left it. I do agree it is a better site.

Was on the site to copy the link for posting and tried it again now with no problems. Do you have Windows Vista? (there are porblems with it on LDS pilot site I think).

Well I have accessed the site before and I think from this laptop- which is Vista though so perhaps I used my PC before  Huh
I was going to suggest asking you anyway so thank you for the link. I hope that Ms Smokestoomuch can find some information.  Cheesy

I have never heard of the Two names you have. Balliadiahmore,or Ballinacliath.
   THe word cliath  [example]  Baile Atha Cliath  was a Gaelic name for Dublin. Lep
